Submission Guidelines

The Abstract Submission guidelines are as follows:

  • All papers must be original with proper citation and references. They should not simultaneously submitted to another journal or symposium.
  • Abstract(s) and full paper(s) approved by the review committee will be invited or presentation at the symposium.
  • Abstract must contain details about the names of the author(s), contact details, institutional affiliation, and designation.
  • Acceptance of the abstracts shall be communicated via email by February 20th,2024.
  • On selection of the abstract, the author(s) must pay the required registration fees no later than March 25th 2024.
  • The link for the registration payment shall be sent to the authors whose abstract would be selected along-with the acceptance mail.
  • The full paper should not exceed 4000 words (all inclusive) using Times New Roman font, 12pt, single spacing and follow APA referencing throughout the manuscript.
  • Papers not satisfying the criteria will be summarily rejected. Authors will be notified about the acceptance of their paper(s) for presentation through email.

 

Submit soft copy of the abstract in maximum 250 words in MS word. It should reach the symposium organizing committee through email- socrsymposium@rishihood.edu.in latest by February 15th, 2024.

Guildlines for Poster Presentation guidelines are as follows:

Those who want to submit their research work in the form of a poster are requested to submit a 250-word abstract by the date announced by the organizers.

  • The abstract should be submitted in the form of a PDF file.
  • Content should be typed single-spaced, on A4 page size, with a 12-point font size, Times New Roman font type, in Word format.
  • Only selected authors/ researchers will be invited to submit the poster within the specified time -Authors should follow the APA citation format.
  • The full poster should be accompanied by a copyright form duly signed by the authors and sent to the organizers through post.
  • The organizers will share the copyright forms with the authors once their abstracts are selected.
  • The copyright form contains a declaration that the poster is original and has not been published anywhere Only selected posters will be published in the symposium proceedings, and the authors will be invited for poster presentation at the symposium.
  • The posters must follow the best academic and research practices. Improper structure of the submissions may lead to rejection.
  • A poster of A0 size with appropriate content is desirable.

Review Process and Publication

The International symposium aims at carrying out two rounds of review process. In the first round, the papers submitted by the authors will be assessed on the basis of their technical suitability, scope of work and plagiarism. The corresponding authors of qualifying submissions will be intimated for their papers to be double blind reviewed by three experts on the basis of originality, novelty, clarity, completeness, relevance, significance and research contribution. The shortlisted papers of all the tracks will be accepted for presentation and publication in the Soft Copy of Symposium proceedings.

Publications

The Papers accepted after the review & presented in the symposium will be published in the book series “Identity, Volume 2” provided, they meet quality standards.

Best Paper Awards

Papers accepted and presented in the symposium will be given the opportunity to compete for the Best Paper Award.
